Bio:
Dan now writes and edits New West Columbia Gorge, a regional news-and-arts blog (www.newwest.net/gorge). Prior to his work with New West, he was the publisher of The Goldendale Sentinel, a 126-year-old weekly paper in Washington State. He is also helping to raise his young daughter, Zora Joy Richardson. Previously, Dan launched The Current, an independent alternative newspaper in the Columbia River Gorge. He worked as a reporter for the Inlander newsweekly in Spokane and as a daily newspaper reporter in New England. Dan earned a B.A. in history and graduated from the Honors program at the University of Puget Sound.
