Bio:
Beth’s writing and reviews have appeared in The Weekly Standard, Planning, Texas Co-op Power, Books and Culture, the Dallas Morning News, Fort Worth Weekly, the Houston Chronicle, the Austin American-Statesman, Waco Today, American Enterprise Magazine Online, and other publications. She began her writing career as an editorial assistant at The Weekly Standard and has held other editorial positions in daily and weekly journalism. Currently, Beth serves as executive director of the chamber of commerce in Mineral Wells, Texas, where she was part of a small group that opened a public fossil park in 2010. She represents 400 area employers on the Texas Association of Business board of directors. Beth received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and her master’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. Just for fun, she and her husband purchased their first business in 2012.
