Mario Fantini

Project: "An examination of the cultural and political transformation of the State of Vermont from a conservative, Republican state to a liberal, Democratic one."
Bio:
Mario has worked as a correspondent for Bridge News/Telerate, external affairs specialist at the World Bank, editorial writer at The Wall Street Journal Europe, and reporter for Bloomberg New Energy Finance. He has also been a consultant at the Far Eastern Economic Review, Keybridge Communications and the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries. His articles and commentaries have appeared in The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Times, The American Spectator, The American Thinker, Monocle, and Front Page Magazine. He is currently the editor-in-chief of The European Conservative. Mario earned a B.A. from Dartmouth College and has Master’s degrees in international development, public policy and financial journalism. In 2005, he received a journalism fellowship from the European Commission. He currently serves on the boards of The Dartmouth Review, the Center for European Renewal and European Dignity Watch. He is also a member of the Phillips Foundation Advisory Board and a Fellow of the Salzburg Global Seminar. He lives in Vienna, Austria.
