Bio:
A bilingual journalist, Cara is the CEO and founder of Reporte Hispano, LLC, New Jersey's Hispanic newspaper and web site, www.reportehispano.com, which she founded with her husband in 2006. Reporte Hispano is a weekly newspaper with an audited circulation of 55,000 copies. Reporte Hispano also provides Hispanic marketing services such as consulting, event marketing services & translation in the growing Hispanic market in New Jersey and around the country. Reporte Hispano holds a federal GSA schedule for translation work with all departments of the federal government (GS10F0046Y) and is the translation agency of record for the State of NJ. Cara has worked for the Associated Press and Bloomberg News and has written for The Wall Street Journal, The Arizona Republic, and The International Herald Tribune. In 2004 she helped found Marketing Y Medios, a national business publication on marketing, advertising and Hispanic media in the U.S. Cara graduated from Columbia University with an M.S. in journalism and a B.A. in Latin American studies and English. Cara and her husband are also card-carrying members of the "Second Shift" and very, very proud parents of two children, a three-year old girl and a one-year old boy.
