Bio:

Brendan is the “Focus On Funds” blogger for Barrons.com, covering ETFs, mutual funds and hedge funds, the writer of the weekly “ETF Focus” column for Barron’s, the Dow Jones financial weekly, and a live market commentator on WSJ.com's "Markets Hub" and "Mean Street" programs. Before starting at Barron’s in early 2012, Brendan was a stock-market reporter for Dow Jones Newswires, filing stories regularly to the Wall Street Journal, as well as a reporter covering equity derivatives. Before joining Dow Jones in 2009, Brendan was an editorial writer at The Washington Times in the nation’s capital and also served as managing editor of the quarterly journal The Public Interest. He holds an MA in business journalism from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from Harvard.
