Duncan Currie

Bio:
Duncan is chief speechwriter and senior policy adviser for Sen. John Cornyn (R–TX). He has previously worked as a writer/editor at National Review, the American Enterprise Institute, and the Weekly Standard. More recently, he served as editorial director of the Bush Institute, a startup think tank affiliated with the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas. His articles and essays have been published in a variety of publications, including the Wall Street Journal, the Claremont Review of Books, and the Sydney Morning Herald. Duncan has been a “Publius” fellow at the Claremont Institute and a media fellow at the Hoover Institution. He graduated from Harvard with a B.A. in American history and now lives in Arlington, Va.
