Bio:

Cheryl is a digital editor for The Washington Time’s new online venture, www.times247.com, and the owner of The Word Tamer, www.thewordtamer.com, a part-time, home-based writing business. Prior, she was online editor for Tea Party Review Magazine and a staff writer for the News & Messenger. Her year-long research into National Heritage Areas was published at The Heartland Institute, AEI’s American Magazine, Townhall Magazine and TechCentralStation. She is also a freelancer with works published in The Washington Examiner, AOL News, Capital Research Center, Heritage Foundation, World Magazine, and others. She is an active army veteran, has worked as a staff writer and reporter at publications in Virginia, Maryland and Georgia, and as a radio news host in Indiana. She lives in Northern Virginia with her husband, four children, Golden Retriever and cat.
