Bio:
David serves as director of communications at the Foundation for Defense of Democracies, before which he worked at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, and as deputy managing editor of The American Interest. His written or ghostwritten work has appeared in the New York Times, Washington Post, Financial Times, International Herald Tribune, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, The Atlantic, Foreign Policy, South China Morning Post, and many other publications. He continues to mentor current Phillips fellows, and help them craft their work. He graduated from Kenyon College with a B.A. in political science.
