Bio:
“The Impact of Technology on Democratic Dissent,” is investigating how technology, and the Internet in particular, have impacted the phenomenon of democratic dissent.David is co-founder and director of CyberDissidents.org which supports pro-democracy internet activists in the Middle East. He is also a freelance journalist whose work has appeared in numerous publications. He is completing an M.A. in diplomacy at Tel Aviv University and received a B.A. in Middle Eastern Studies at UCLA.
