Bio:
Tony Gonzalez reports for The Tennessean in Nashville, where he lives with his wife Katie and their bullmastiff Riviera. An economics grad from Hillsdale College in Michigan, Gonzalez was named the state's collegiate Journalist of the Year in 2008. Over three years reporting and editing Virginia's smallest daily newspaper, The News Virginian, he contributed to projects that received the Virginia Press Association's highest honor, the Award for Journalistic Integrity and Community Service, in 2009 and 2010, as well as a national award from the Associated Press Managing Editors. He joined The Tennessean in July 2011.
