Bio:

of Arlington, Texas, attends Texas Wesleyan University, where she founded its College Republicans club in 2000. She became active in politics as a junior high school student, inspired by a meeting in 1994 with then-gubernatorial candidate George W. Bush. She is on the staff of The Rambler, the student newspaper, and covers news events as well as contributing conservative opinion features. As a freshman, she received the McCann Business Freshman of the Year Award for her academic and leadership achievements. She plans to pursue a doctorate and eventually enter the accounting field.
