Bio:
Fairfax, Va., is a Deans List sophomore at George Mason University majoring in government and international politics. She is active in the College Republicans and volunteered in a successful Virginia state senate campaign. She has helped mobilize other conservatives at GMU against political correctness and on behalf of free speech and religious freedom despite hostility from the left and threats by liberal professors to lower her grades. She has worked for the Mercatus Center, an economic think thank, and the Institute for Humane Studies, and has participated in programs offered by the Heritage Foundation and Clare Booth Luce Policy Institute. She also was an intern for Reuters Television in Washington, D.C.
