Bio:
North Caldwell, N.J., is a junior at Harvard University majoring in social studies with an honors concentration in the humanities. She is founder and president of the Harvard Initiative for School Choice, which advocates vouchers and other forms of educational choice and reform, and is also president of the Harvard Ukrainian Society. She was an aide in the 2001 campaign of Republican Bret Schundler for Governor of New Jersey. She has contributed to many campus periodicals, including Harvards Crimson, Political Review, Review of Philosophy, Independent, Economist, and Focus Europe. She has provided staff support to the Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government and participates in a variety of other Harvard extracurricular groups and activities.
