Bio:

Miami, Fla., is a junior political science and Cuban-American studies major at Florida International University and previously attended Miami-Dade Community College, where she founded its College Republican club. She has worked extensively on GOP campaigns in Florida and volunteered at the Victory 2000 Florida Republican State Convention and other major events. Beginning in high school, she was an intern for her political mentor and fellow Cuban-American, Rep. Ileana Ros Lehtinen (R-FL). She is active in the Free Cuba Foundation, participated in the Leadership Institutes Youth Leadership School, and has contributed hundreds of hours to voluntary community service.
