Bio:
of Fort Mill, S.C., attends Furman University with majors in political science and biology, and previously attended Duke University. Currently holding the title of Miss Lancaster (S.C.), she is a National Merit Scholar and a member of Mensa, the social organization for high-IQ individuals. She is chairwoman of the College Republican Federation of South Carolina, founder and president of Students Against Violence in Education (SAVE), an anti-violence mentoring program that also stresses self-defense and Second Amendment rights, and founder and president of Leaders for a Free America, a Furman-based academic freedom group that has helped bring conservative speakers to campus, among other projects.
