Bio:

of Seymour, Conn., attends the University of Connecticut and is majoring in pharmacy. She received extensive statewide news media attention and the congratulations of the Governor for her high school valedictory address in 2002 defending the role of faith in American national life, facing down school officials who deemed it too controversial. Her area American Legion post awarded her its Americanism Medal for her stance on behalf of the First Amendment. She is a member of the College Republicans and volunteers for several charitable and civic organizations.
