Bio:

Bark River, Mich., attends the University of Michigan and is majoring in Political Science and AAPTS (Arabic-Armenian-Perisan-Turkish Studies). She is Chairwoman of the UM College Republicans and in 2004 was campaign manager for a successful candidate for the Michigan Legislature and also volunteered on other GOP campaigns. She founded MPowered, a non-partisan coalition of campus political and social activist groups which offers workshops for freshmen on how to become involved.
