Bio:

Jackson, Miss., attends Belhaven College (Miss.), majoring in Theater and Philosophy, with a 3.9 GPA. He was executive director and is currently vice-chairman of the Mississippi Federation of College Republicans. A debater and public speaker, he has received awards from the National Forensics League. He has participated in several national programs of the YMCA, including its Model UN, Youth and Government, and Conference on National Affairs. He also served on the Youth Advisory Board to the Mayor of Jackson. He won two state championship and a third place nationally in the National Consumers Leagues LifeSmarts competition, and competed in the 2002 National Panasonic Academic Challenge.
