Bio:

Matthews, N.C., attends the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and is majoring in peace, war, and defense. A Deans List student, she is executive director of the UNC College Republicans as well as an officer of the Orange County (N.C.) Republican Committee, UNC Collegians for a Constructive Tomorrow, Conservative Womens Voice, the Committee for a Better Carolina, and the Tar Heel Pistol & Rifle Club. She is a founding member and officer of Christian Apologetics of Carolina. She is a Young Americas Foundation Club 100 member as one of Americas top conservative student activists.
