Bio:

Arlington Heights, Ill., attends Stanford University and is majoring in international relations. A National Merit Scholar and a six-time national medalist in the Science Olympiad, she is deputy editor and foreign affairs editor of The Stanford Review. She has received the Stanford Review Organizations Excellence in Journalism Award and has created a feature, The Tree of Liberty, which chronicles individual stories of people risking their lives for freedom and democracy. She has interned at the Hoover Institution on War, Revolution and Peace.
