Bio:

Palo Alto, Calif., attends Claremont McKenna College, where he is majoring in government and physics. He is president of the Republicans of the Claremont Colleges organization. He is managing editor of The Claremont Independent, a conservative student publication, and has interned for The Hill, a Washington, D.C., newspaper that covers politics, campaigns, and activities of the Congress. In high school, he founded and edited The Partisan Review, a journal of politics. In 2006, he was a finalist in the Atlas Shrugged Essay Contest sponsored by the Ayn Rand Institute. He has been active in many Republican political campaigns and has interned for a California State Assemblyman and the White House Office of Presidential Speechwriting.
