Bio:
Sterling, Va., attends the University of Virginia, where she is majoring in systems engineering. She was one of six students in the U.S. to receive a 2007 Lockheed Martin Distinguished Student Award for academic excellence in engineering. She has interned at the CIA. A member of Young America's Foundation's "Club 100," which recognizes the country's top conservative leader-activists, she is an officer of the Network of Enlightened Women (NEW) at UVA, a conservative advocacy organization. She also belongs to the College Republicans and participates in programs of the Intercollegiate Studies Institute. She teaches Sunday School at her local Roman Catholic Church, and is a member of UVA's alpine ski and snowboard team.
