Bio:

Willmar, Minn., attends Gustavus Adolphus College, where he is majoring in social studies and secondary education. An Army ROTC cadet, he is an officer of his schools College Republicans and active in Gusties for Restoring America, an advocacy group he co-founded and serves as president. Through both organizations, he has brought conservative speakers to campus and organized a wide range of events and activities. He has received leadership training from Summit Ministries and the Leadership Institute. He is a physics tutor and a varsity athlete.
