Bio:

Kingsport, Tenn., attends Furman University, where he is majoring in classics and political science. He was State Chairman of the Tennessee Teen-Age Republicans and a delegate to the 2008 GOP National Convention. He is a member of Furmans College Republican club and Furman University Conservative Students for a Better Tomorrow. He also was a page in the U.S. Senate. He has volunteered for many local, state, and federal campaigns. He also is active in Junior Statesmen of America. A violist, he has performed with several campus and community orchestras and symphonies.
