Bio:

Peyton, Colo., is a Patrick Henry College sophomore majoring in government. She is currently vice-president of the Libertas Society, a student organization that lobbies on conservative issues, a student senator, assistant coach of the debate team, and regional coordinator of ParentalRights.com, an organization seeking a Constitutional amendment to limit government encroachment on family life. She was the 2007 Colorado winner of the VFW Voice of Democracy Essay Contest and the 2008 Colorado winner of the American Legion Oratorical Competition on the U.S. Constitution.  She has won more than 60 awards in high school and collegiate speech, debate and moot court competitions.
