Bio:

Amherst, Wis., attends the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point (UWSP) and is majoring in elementary education.  She is president of Pointers for Life, a campus anti-abortion group, and a member of the Portage County Right to Life.  She helped organize the Cemetery of Innocence, a display of 4,000 crosses symbolizing the number of abortions performed daily in the United States. She also has defended her organization’s free speech rights against criticism from administrators, faculty, and other students.
