Bio:

Houston, Texas, attends the University of the South and is majoring in political science.  He is president of his school’s college Republicans, helping to triple its membership.  He was co-chair of the Sophomore Year Experience Council, a group promoting class unity and spirit.  A rugby player, he also helps coach the women’s rugby team.  He has served as a Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislator at received the group’s Carlile Award honoring the top-performing delegate.  He campaigned extensively for a state legislative candidate who in 2010 became the first Republican elected from Franklin County, Tenn., since Reconstruction.
